When King Leopold III abdicated the Belgian throne in 1951, his successor King Baudouin ushered in an era of a little more calm, with his reign lasting over 40 years — he died in 1993.
In the 1960s and 1970s and beyond, postage stamp printing technology — as well as the collectors’ market — grew exponentially, and during King Baudouin oversaw the issuance of a very large number of colorful stamps, including commemorative pieces and special philatelists’ items, in Belgium.
Baudouin’s successor, King Albert II, has continued this tradition. Belgium’s King Baudouin stamps for sale are listed in this section. Come back to see the newest offers often.
