The versatile figure of Liberty featured on the Barber dime coins from the United States of 1892 to 1916. The coins are named for their designer, Charles Barber, and their obverse showed Liberty’s head looking right. As with most other American ten-cent pieces, the phrase ONE DIME was on the reverse. Barber dimes replaced the seated Liberty dimes, and would give way to Mercury dimes in 1916.
There are quite a few great Barber dimes for sale of various conditions and rarities from a number of vendors. The Barber dime marketplace is big enough that coin collectors and buyers with any budget and with any type of collection can usually find something that suits their needs.
