The United States used its seated Liberty design on its silver quarters from 1839 until 1891. This design, showing Liberty seated on a rock and holding up a shield on the ground in one hand and raising a staff in the other, was also used on other coins at the time.
There are many rare and collectible seated Liberty quarters available for auction bidding or as set sales. Check the current selection, which includes many different quarters from different vendor sites and sellers and which changes every day. The seated Liberty quarters replaced the previous quarter dollar coin, the capped bust quarter, and would itself be replaced by the Barber quarter in 1892.
