Howdy there, fellow coin collectors! It’s Stanley here, and I want to share with you my latest coin collecting adventure. This time, I hopped in my time machine and went back to Saudi Arabia in 1916. Now, let me tell you, this trip wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows, but it was an experience I’ll never forget.
When I first arrived, I found myself in a rural area. The roads were dusty and rocky, and the buildings were made of mud and clay. The sun was blazing hot, and the air was dry. I could see palm trees in the distance, and I heard the occasional goat bleating. It was unlike anything I had ever seen before, but I was excited to explore.

As I made my way to the nearest town, I had to be careful. At that time, Saudi Arabia was under the rule of the Ottoman Empire, and tensions were high. I made sure to be respectful of the customs and beliefs of the people I encountered. I also had to watch out for bandits and thieves who roamed the countryside.
Once I reached the town, I knew I had to come up with a way to get my hands on some coins. I thought about what might be valuable to the people there, and I decided to offer my skills as a carpenter. I had learned woodworking as a hobby, and I figured I could use it to earn some money. I went from door to door, offering to fix broken furniture and make new pieces.

But, alas, my plan didn’t work. People were suspicious of me, and they didn’t trust me enough to let me into their homes. I got no coins at all, and I felt like a failure. I decided to cut my losses and return to the present.
Despite not being able to add any Saudi Arabian coins to my collection, I still appreciated the opportunity to travel back in time and experience a different culture. It reminded me that not every trip will be successful or easy, but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth the effort. I encourage all of you to keep collecting coins and exploring new places, even if it doesn’t always go as planned. And if you do happen to come across any Saudi Arabian coins, be sure to add them to your collection with pride. Happy collecting!
