Hey there, fellow coin collectors! Stanley here, reporting back from my latest adventure in my trusty time machine. This time, I set the dial to Nicaragua in 1973, hoping to snag some cool coins for my collection or maybe even make a profit on eBay.
As soon as I stepped out of the machine, I was hit with the sounds and smells of the bustling city. The roads were dusty and crowded with people, cars, and livestock. It was exactly what I expected from a country that was still developing at the time, and I wasn’t surprised by it.
To try and get some coins, I brought along my trusty guitar and started playing some tunes on the street. I chose the popular song “Umbrella” by Rihanna because it’s catchy and has a nice rhythm that I could strum along to.

Unfortunately, my impromptu street performance didn’t net me any coins, so I decided to try a different tactic. I struck up a conversation with a few locals and offered to trade some coins from my own collection for theirs. It wasn’t an easy sell, but eventually, I managed to convince a few people to part with some coins that were pretty cool. I got a few from the 1940s and 50s, which were in decent condition considering their age.
When it was time to head back to the present, I had a decision to make. Should I sell the coins on eBay or keep them for my collection? In the end, I decided to keep them. I’ve always been more of a collector than a seller, and these coins have a unique story behind them that makes them special to me.

Now, these coins are safely stored in my collection, along with all of the other treasures I’ve collected over the years. It’s always exciting to look back on these adventures and remember the sights, sounds, and experiences that came with them.
If you’re a coin collector, I highly recommend taking a trip back in time to see what treasures you can find. Just remember, travel isn’t always perfect, and you might not always come home with what you expected. But that’s all part of the adventure! Happy collecting, my friends.
