When I arrived, I found myself in a rural area surrounded by mountains. It was early fall, and the air was crisp and chilly. The people were friendly but reserved, and I could tell that they were still recovering from the Yugoslav Wars that had ravaged the region not too long ago.
I had to be careful and aware of my surroundings, but luckily, I didn’t encounter any danger. I mostly kept to myself, observing the locals going about their day-to-day lives. I think I was in a small town a few dozen kilometers from the capital Podgorica.

To get some coins, I decided to sell a few items from my time machine. I thought that a Gameboy would be an effective item to trade, as it was a relatively new and unique technology at the time. And let me tell you, it worked like a charm.
I met a man who was fascinated by the Gameboy and offered me some coins in exchange for it. They weren’t the most interesting coins, but they were still a valuable addition to my collection. I ended up auctioning some of the coins on eBay and kept the rest for my personal collection.
It was a challenging trip, but I appreciate the experience nonetheless. Montenegro may not have been the most glamorous destination, but it offered a unique perspective on the region’s history and people.
