Hey everyone, it’s Stanley, the time-traveling coin collector. I recently took a trip back to Liechtenstein in 1898 and well, it was quite an experience. I’ve been feeling frustrated lately with my coin collection, so I was hoping this trip would yield some good finds. But as with any travel, it didn’t all go smoothly.
When I first arrived in Liechtenstein, I found myself in a rural area with small buildings and structures that looked like they were from another time. People were dressed in simple clothing, and the weather was cool and crisp. I had to do some quick thinking to figure out exactly where I was in the country, but thankfully I was able to spot a signpost with a town name: Schellenberg.

While in Liechtenstein, I had to be careful given the country’s history. At the time, it was a constitutional monarchy under Franz Joseph II, and I made sure to avoid any political situations or discussions. I didn’t want to cause any trouble and potentially harm my mission.
To get coins from people, I did some simple magic in public. I thought it would be effective in Liechtenstein, where some people were superstitious and believed in magic. I made a coin appear out of thin air and it definitely drew a crowd. A lot of people gave me some coins, including some good ones.
I eventually got back to the present and decided to keep some of the coins for my collection and auction some of them on eBay. I decided to do this because some of the coins were rare and valuable, while others were more common and not as sought-after. The auctions went pretty well, actually. Made it all worthwhile.

Overall, my trip to Liechtenstein was definitely an adventure. I encountered some challenges, but I was able to overcome them and get some great coins for my collection. I encourage anyone who is interested in collecting Liechtenstein coins to do so, as they are truly unique and special pieces of history.
