Hi, everyone! Stanley here, the time-traveling coin collector. For those of you who are new to my blog, let me quickly introduce myself. I live in Canada with my lovely wife, Harriet. I collect coins and sometimes sell them on eBay. And, oh, did I mention that I have a homemade time machine that can take me back in time to collect rare coins? I know, I know. It sounds crazy, but it’s true.
Today, I want to tell you about my recent trip back in time to France. I wanted to get my hands on some France coins to sell on eBay because I had good luck before selling France coins. One time, I sold a 1948 French Franc for over $500! I knew I had to go back to France and get more.

France has a rich history of coins. It all began with the Gaulish coins in the 3rd century BC, and over the centuries, the coins have been influenced by various conquerors, including the Romans, the Franks, and the Burgundians.
So, my plan was simple. I would go to France and try to get the coins by buying something and getting them in change. I had done this before, and it had worked out well. But this time, I wanted to try a different town, one that was less well-known and less crowded.
I chose the town of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. It’s a small village in the south of France, nestled between the mountains and the sea. The weather was perfect, sunny and warm, with a gentle breeze blowing from the Mediterranean.

I spent eight days in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, trying to get my hands on those France coins. I have to admit, I was scared the whole time. I didn’t speak much French, and the locals seemed unfriendly. But I was determined to get what I wanted.
Finally, on the eighth day, I went into a small store and bought a loaf of bread. When I got my change, there it was, a 1939 French Franc! I was thrilled. I asked the shopkeeper if he had any more, and he said he did. I managed to get everything he had.
I used the time machine to go back to present-day Canada. But instead of selling the coins on eBay, I decided to give them to my collector friend, Albert. Albert is a passionate collector, and he is always on the lookout for rare coins. I knew he would appreciate them more than anyone else.

The surprising reason I gave the coins to Albert is that I had realized that it wasn’t about the money. It was about the thrill of the chase, the excitement of the unknown, the adventure of traveling back in time. I realized that I didn’t need the coins to feel fulfilled. I just needed the experience.
So, that’s my story of traveling back in time to France to get coins. It was a wild ride, full of fear and excitement, but in the end, it was all worth it. I hope you enjoyed reading about it as much as I enjoyed living it. Until next time, happy collecting!
