Hey there folks, it’s me, Stanley, the time-traveling coin collector. I know, sounds weird, but it’s true! I like to collect coins and sell them on eBay. Recently, I’ve been obsessed with getting my hands on some Martinique coins for my collection. I already have one and I just can’t get enough of them. They’re pretty neat, you know?
Now, for those of you who don’t know, Martinique is a small island in the Caribbean with a history of French colonization. Their coins are unique and rare, so that’s why I’m so eager to get my hands on more of them.
I thought it would be easy to get some when I traveled back in time using my homemade time machine. I figured I’d just buy something and get some Martinique coins in my change. Boy, was I wrong!

So, I ended up in this small, rundown town called Sainte-Marie. It’s in the northeast part of the island, and let me tell you, it’s not exactly a tropical paradise. The place was sweltering hot and the air was thick with the smell of fish and sweat. It was pretty gross, to be honest.
Anyway, I spent about 15 hours trying to get some Martinique coins. I was really nervous the whole time, like someone was gonna catch me or something. I didn’t have any luck in Sainte-Marie, so I decided to travel to another town called Le Lamentin. I had to hitch a ride with some sketchy guy in a beat-up truck, but I made it there eventually.

But even in Le Lamentin, I still couldn’t find any Martinique coins. I was pretty disappointed, to say the least. After all that effort, I came up empty-handed.
I hopped back in my time machine and headed back to Canada. I started thinking about why I was so obsessed with getting those coins. It’s not like they’re gonna make me rich or anything. I guess I just really love collecting things that are unique and have a cool history.
So, there you have it folks. My quest for Martinique coins was a total bust, but at least I learned something about myself in the process.
