Well, hello there, folks. I’m Stanley, a coin collector from the Great White North. I’ve got this fancy time machine that I use to travel back in time and get my hands on some coins before they became a hot commodity.
So, the other day, I was out looking for some new wiper blades for my car when I ran into this guy who was more miserable than a polar bear in a sauna. He told me to buzz off and to stop bothering him. I mean, come on, pal, lighten up a bit, will ya?
But enough about that, let me tell you about my trip to Jamaica in 1868. I figured it would be a great opportunity to scoop up some rare British coins since Jamaica was still under British colonial rule at the time. I hopped into my trusty time machine and went back to the land of reggae and rum.

The journey was as smooth as a baby’s behind, and before I knew it, I was in the quaint town of Falmouth. It was situated on the north coast of Jamaica, nestled between the Dominican Republic and Cuba. I was like a kid in a candy store, eagerly anticipating my next coin acquisition.
To get my hands on some coins, I did my usual sketching of people in exchange for some donations. It was a success, and I managed to collect some unique coins that would make any coin collector salivate like a starving dog in front of a juicy bone. But while I was doing my sketches, I noticed some young ladies who were as restless as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs. I had a feeling they were up to something, but I didn’t want to get involved. Who knows what kind of trouble those gals were cooking up?

After I had collected enough coins, I set my time machine and made my way back to the present day. The journey was smoother than a baby’s bottom covered in silk. And let me tell you, the coins I collected in Jamaica were as rare as a Canadian who doesn’t like hockey.
So, there you have it, folks. My trip to Jamaica in 1868 was quite the adventure. If you’re looking to start your own coin collection, I wish you luck, but let me tell you, it’s a wild ride. Until next time, keep on collecting those shiny coins.
