Hi, guys! Stanley here, the time-traveling coin collector. If you’re new to my blog, welcome! I’ve been to a lot of places in different eras to collect coins and sell them on eBay. Today, I want to tell you about my trip to Dominica, a tiny island in the Caribbean, to get some coins.
Dominica has a unique currency system that I’ve never tried selling coins from before, so I figured it was worth a shot. The country used to be a British colony, but it gained independence in 1978. Its official currency is the Eastern Caribbean dollar, which is used by eight other Caribbean nations. It had other coins way back before, too.

I expected to get the coins by buying something and getting change, but it turned out to be much harder than I thought. I had to spend six days in a small village called Petite Soufrière. The place is known for its hot springs and natural beauty, and it’s located on the east coast of the island. The village is very small, with only around 500 residents. The weather was humid and warm, but I wasn’t surprised because Dominica is a tropical island.
I tried to get the coins from every store in the village, but no one had ones I needed. I was starting to get nervous because I only had one day left, and I needed to find a way to get the coins. That’s when I met these guys who seemed really unnerving. They were eyeing me suspiciously, and I didn’t know what to do. I did my best to avoid them, but I always felt like my time was running out.

Finally, on the last day, I found what I needed. I went into a tiny shop, and I was surprised to find that they had the coins. The shopkeeper was really friendly, and I ended up buying a bag of spices from him. As he gave me my change, I saw the Dominica coins, and I couldn’t believe my luck.
But my adventure wasn’t over yet. When I tried to use my time machine to go back to Canada, I had some technical difficulties. The machine broke down, and I was stranded in Dominica. I was really scared, but I managed to fix it and hightail it back.
Back in Canada, I decided to give the coins to my collector friend, Dave. Dave is a great guy who shares my passion for coins, and I knew he would appreciate them. I did it as a gift to him because he had been going through a tough time with his family.
