The Rajputs were comprised of several clans that ruled over large parts of India (especially the central, northern, and western areas) fore several hundred years from the 500s to the 1100s. These clans issued their own coins, including silver coins.
The number of Rajput coins available in the marketplace today tends to be rather limited. Despite this, coins from Rajput clans are generally not priced very high and so are available to collectors of many different types.
