The Kalachuri Empire refers to two different kingdoms of the same name that ruled an area including northern and eastern India, at its zenith in the tenth, eleventh, and twelfth centuries.
Kalachuri coins were made in silver and copper, as well as gold. Although the number of coins in the marketplace is not as numerous as coins from other areas and other eras, there are often a few rather striking pieces available. Featuring seated goddesses, the coins were inscribed in the Kannada language.
Our current selection of Kalachuri coins is available in this for sale section. It is updated daily; come back to see the newest listings.
