The Delhi Sultanate was a collection of five Sunni Islam dynasties that existed in northern India from the 13th century to the 16th century. The coins used by the dynasties include both silver and gold coins, among others.
The five dynasties were: Mamluk (not to be confused with the Egyptian Mamluk Dynasty), Tughlaq, Khilji, Sayyid, and Lodi.
While it is not always easy to find coins from each of the five Delhi Sultanate dynasties, it is indeed possible to focus on the sultanate as a whole; there are many coins available, appealing to a wide swath of collectors.
