Hey there, coin lovers!
It’s Stanley again, the coin collector from Canada who time-travels to different countries to add to my collection. And I’m feeling pretty darn excited about my latest trip. I hopped in my time machine and went back to Egypt in 1995, for my second time. But this time, things were a bit different…
When I arrived in Egypt, the first thing I noticed was the dry heat. It was like walking into an oven, man. But I was psyched to be there, soaking up the history and culture of the place. And Egypt in 1995 was pretty wild. The government was being led by Hosni Mubarak, and the country was really starting to modernize. There were new buildings and construction projects popping up all over the place, so it was pretty cool to see that.

Now, let’s get to the good stuff – the COINS. I had a secret weapon this time, something I thought would be a hit with the locals. I brought along a “futuristic” toy (Elmo doll!) that was totally out of this world. And let me tell you, it worked like a charm. People were freaking out over it, and I managed to get some sweet coins in exchange. It was like nothing I’d ever experienced before.
After my successful trip, I decided to trade some of my coins with another collector, but the real fun was when I auctioned some of them off on eBay. I’m a bit of a perfectionist, so I made sure my listings had all the nitty-gritty details about each coin. And I gotta say, I did pretty well – I sold them for $1,257. But I was hoping to get more, you know? Can’t complain though obviously.
