FIND DJIBOUTI COINS FOR SALE

Hey there, fellow coin fanatics! You won’t believe the trip I just took back in time to Djibouti in 1977. As a coin collector, it’s always exciting to explore new places and time periods to add to my collection. But man this trip had its ups and downs, and my mood today reflects that. Sorry, bear with me.

When my time machine touched down in Djibouti’s capital, it was like stepping into a different world. The heat was intense, and I could feel the sweat rolling down my back. The roads were narrow and bumpy, with cars and donkeys jostling for space. And the people! Wow, they were quite the mix of cultures and languages. I definitely felt like a stranger in a strange land.

But as I explored the city, I found it fascinating to see how Djibouti was still a French colony at the time. There were plenty of French influences in the architecture and culture. And the economy was all about trade and port services, with ships coming and going all the time. I even got to visit the port and see all the hustle and bustle.

Now, the coin market was a bit disappointing, to be honest. Most of the coins in circulation were pretty basic, nothing to write home about. But I had a secret weapon – I brought some futuristic trinkets with me (earbuds) to sell to the locals. I figured they’d be interested in something new and different, and it worked! I got to meet some fascinating people and chat about their lives and culture. And yeah, I did manage to get some coins in exchange for my wares, but nothing too rare or exciting.

The most unexpected part of the trip was when I stumbled upon a local soccer match. These Djiboutians took their soccer seriously. The game was intense, and the players were incredibly talented. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it before.

After my adventures in Djibouti, I returned to the present and put some of the coins up for auction on eBay. It was crazy to see how much interest there was in these little pieces of history. I made a decent profit, but it wasn’t about the money for me. It was about the experience of exploring a new place, meeting new people, and adding to my collection.

Looking back, I’m grateful for the opportunity to travel back in time and experience a different way of life. Djibouti may not have been perfect but it was certainly a unique and unforgettable trip. And who knows, maybe someday I’ll be back to explore more unexpected surprises.
