Hey there, folks. It’s your time-traveling coin collector, Stanley, back with another tale from the past. Today, I’m going to tell you about my journey to Serbia in search of some special coins for my collection.
Now, before I get into the nitty-gritty, let me give you some background. I have always loved Serbia, even though I’ve never been there. It’s a beautiful country with a rich history, and their coins are like little pieces of that history that I can hold in my hand. So, when I found out that I could use my homemade time machine to go back and get some, I jumped at the chance.

Serbia has had several different currencies over the years, but I was specifically looking for some dinars from the early 20th century. I figured I could just trade with a local and get their own circulating coins. Seemed easy enough, right? Well, let me tell you, it was anything but.
Before I even left, I had some trouble with the time machine. It was a nerve-wracking experience, but I managed to fix it. I never want to have to take apart a quantum capacitor again.
Anyway, once I arrived in the past, I found myself in a small village called Zlatibor. According to my research, it was a peaceful and picturesque place, and it didn’t disappoint. The village was nestled in the rolling hills of western Serbia, and the weather was just perfect for me – not too hot or too cold. I felt right at home.

Now, I only had 13 hours to get those coins, and let me tell you, it was a wild ride. I tried everything I could think of to get those dinars, but every attempt seemed to lead to a dead end. I was nervous and scared, but I kept going. As for the food, well, let’s just say that it wasn’t exactly my cup of tea. I tried some local dishes, but they were too spicy for my taste. But I didn’t let that stop me from my mission.
It wasn’t until I was buying some supplies in a small store that I finally got what I needed. I received the exact coins I was looking for as change from the transaction. I couldn’t believe it! It was like fate was on my side.

There were good times too. Along the way, I met some people who were incredibly helpful. They went out of their way to make sure that I was safe and taken care of, even though they had no idea who I was or why I was there.
Once I had the coins in my possession, I used the time machine to come back to present-day Canada. At first, I thought about selling them on eBay, but I ultimately decided to keep them for myself. They were just too special to let go.
Looking back on the experience, I can’t help but smile. It was a wild ride, but it was worth it. Who knows, maybe someday I’ll try to get some more Serbia coins. But for now, I’m just happy to have these little pieces of history in my collection.
